Dave is a full-stack engineer and cloud infrastructure architect who builds custom end-to-end applications for businesses, from the app layer all the way down to the infrastructure. He has deep experience designing and operating production platforms on AWS, architecting VPCs, managing multi-account organizations, standing up EKS and ECS clusters, configuring CI/CD pipelines, and implementing security best practices across IAM, secrets management, and network policies.

His infrastructure work spans the full AWS ecosystem: EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Route 53, ALB/NLB, Lambda, SQS, and more, always with an emphasis on automation, reproducibility, and cost efficiency. Beyond the cloud, he has built his own enterprise-grade homelab infrastructure on bare metal, running production workloads on self-managed Kubernetes clusters with the same reliability standards as cloud-hosted environments.

He is also a strong advocate of AI-first development, building MCP servers, AI agents, and intelligent automations that integrate with AWS AI services like Bedrock, SageMaker, and Comprehend. He follows best practices for responsible AI integration, ensuring security, cost control, and observability across every AI-powered workflow, from document processing pipelines to automated infrastructure operations.

His architecture philosophy centers on high availability and resilience: cross-region deployments, automated backups, disaster recovery strategies, and cloud-native designs built on managed services. Whether building on AWS-native primitives or crafting custom solutions tailored to a client's specific business requirements, he focuses on adaptable, right-fit architectures that solve real problems without over-engineering.

He specializes in building Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) and self-service portals that empower engineering teams to provision, manage, and scale cloud resources on demand, without bottlenecks or ticket queues. From automated infrastructure provisioning and environment spin-up to role-based access controls and cost-aware resource governance, his platform engineering work streamlines the path from code to production while maintaining security and compliance at every layer.

He brings that same rigor to application development, building production-grade web platforms with Laravel, React, TypeScript, and Python.
